Running temps

Post by Paul B »

Hi All, just a general question really , I'm running a 04 plate vtr and was wondering if anyone knew the running temps of the bike . Mine runs at about 80 to 90 degs whilst riding unobstructed , but regularly fits high 90's in town or even 100 plus at which point the fan kicks in , Ive checked the reservoir and its up in top limit , advice appreciated . Thanks Paul

Mines a 97 model and it is exactly the same.As long as the fan cuts in it should be OK.All perfectly normal evidently.I asked the very same question when I got my storm.
SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN
