No indicators!!!

Post by BrianC »

Storm 1 has been laid up for a while so i gave her a start this afternoon with no problems.

But when i tried indicators - nothing!!! Either side - nothing.

Presumed switcg was gummed up so split it and gave it a liberal dousing in contact cleaner - still nothing

Is it possible flasher unit has gone with standing?

Std bulbs or LED's ?
Check your fuses of course always first port of call.
Then try a different relay.
Last it's the switch.

The one I recently bought the indis work on one side only, the relay clicks on the other side but no flashing...that points it at the switch which does feel a bit wrong in operation.

I'm just adding it to the very long list pof jobs to do between the 6 bikes...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...
