Length of oil lines?

Post by mik_str »

Hi,

if anyone has a spare set of oil lines kicking around, I would really appreciate if you could measure the length of both lines for me (center to center if possible).

thanks in advance

cheers

I do have a set off the bike but at the back of the cave...The sky is shitting itself here today so I'm not gonna pull all me bikes out today to get to them...Next time I get in there I'll measure them for you. That might be the week end tho...

Ok Mik I used a very scientific method of a peice of string...Held by an able assistantfrom the center of the the rear mount, then I moved it along to each bend, held it & moved on...There is a slight discrepency in that there was a rubber bung on it, so up & over that add maybe 1cm, then as the top end is a different angle so I mesured only to the flat...add 6mm to account... Then cut string & measured it flat & got 70cm -1cm + 6mm 69.6 +/- 2-3mm...

Hope that helps...what do you mean you need it in imperial...
