Anyone know a good dyno op near Reading?

Cheers, I will give them a call at some point!

Finished CCT’s, fitted carb and started her up, she started well and seems to sound very smooth. I don’t know if that’s all down to clean carbs & new plugs or the TPS being set correctly and more importantly plugged in!

I do confess to not counting the mixture screws in before removal so have set them as advised in a thread on here (not the standard Honda turns) like I said she started well, idles well - how would I know if they are right?

Hmmmm I have 45 pilots and less turns out than what Honda advise - what’s people’s thoughts?
Would I be set to rich or lean?

thanks, I have ordered a mixture adjusting tool (thanks Amazon) down for delivery tomorrow so I shall follow the guide on setting them.

DO I balance first or adjust mixture screws first?

Forgot to mention, my rear cam chain is slightly noisey, when I set the CCT it may have been closer to 10 or 11mm, I am thinking to just add an 8th of a turn and seeing how much difference that makes. Is this acceptable or do I need to get cover off and measure again :?:

Yes, you can do it by ear easily enough but keep a spanner on the adjuster hex and leave the locknut squeezing a bit, that will stop the adjuster undoing itself.
Get it nice and hot, then tighten the adjuster until the tapping goes away, if too tight the engine tick over starts to slow a little loosen off if that happens.
You should be able to loosen until you can just hear it ticking. Tighten one flat from there and it will be right.
