Hi guys 98 firestorm 58000 miles black widow exhaust, seem to be getting a missfire when holding steady throttle, pulls through it when i give her more throttle carbs are standard and have been cleaned tps done carbs balanced is this a fueling problem it does seem to be running rich, any help much appreciated.

was it doing it before you took the carbs of and cleaned them? as in is it all back together right? vac line not split? fitted correctly? when mine done that is was running filthy rich as it came onto the main jets. :thumbup:
the older i get,the faster i was :lol:

Yeah fabio it was doing it before and i have tried everything i can think off to cure it bar rejetting if that would cure it i have even tried a second set of carbs and changing the box/brain on rear of bike.

Coils, spark plugs and caps are next.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Surly you mean... C c coils & spark P p p plugs & C c caps are next...

Are the carb rubbers definitely on correctly and clamped up fully? It could be air getting in there.
