I gave my needles and floats a coke bath for 24 hours and then some toothbrush and
carb cleaner for a few hours more and the cleaned up a lot
Somebody had been here before me, stripped bowl screws and the screw slot of one pilot is heavily chewed
Also one needle is in a very advanced state of wear
This bike has 45 pilot and front
carb 162 and rear 140 mains
The 162 on the front had some copper wire wrapped around its thread and down through the jet for unknown reasons, so I have removed that
And also some idiot wasn't able to get floats back in properly so had used a cardboard shim to lock into place which I have also discarded
This bike, I think, was crashed and lost one of its twin silencers so had one pipe Frankensteined from both with them now coming out to an unbaffeled shorty can, which may or may not explain the
jetting when I start it for next test ride...
