Ok so filled the bike up to the little metal bit and have just conked out. Mileage of this tank 118 miles.
Luckily I was on my way home and stopped 300 meters from my garage. Only downside was pushing said heavy beast home the 300 meters( slightly up hill).

The wife's bike gets on average 118 miles before the light comes on. It has standard cans and she has a light wrist..... Can't be bad?

The light came on at 101 and conked out on 118 and that was all quick blast to work and the odd scrap around town

it has been looked at...many times...the tanks been checked for dents, the carbs have been balanced by both me and the honda dealer, there's no
fuel leaks and it's not running rich...if i'm honest it's done 70 to 85mls to the tank from the day i bought it...if i wanted something that does high mpg i would of bought a blackbird not the firestorm, the low mpg doesn't bother me at all....

Bloody hell Lloyd your
fuel consumption has gone up since the last time we had one of these threads.

I get about 80 before the light too same as before, but last time it was me being told to get it looked at.

The funny thing is not so long ago I filled up with Texaco
fuel for once (I use Esso usually) and I got a slight increase in mileage.

Yep with Dyno jets and k&n + race cans I used to get 105-115 to the light bit now I'm on standard parts I'm lucky to get 95 to the light go figure

err

It's like I said last time. There is just no logic to the
fuel consumption on theses bikes and one bike cannot be compared to another, they are all different.
