Nice work! Good to see you didn't have to strip the LHS engine cover to get it out.

Cleaned mine up earlier this year, packed with boot with grease etc. Also stole a tip straight out of my son's WR service manual - put a cable tie around the boot to help prevent any water getting between cable and boot. Just though I'd share that.

Nice tip! It's great to see that starter back on a working. I don't think i have ever seen a starter stuck like that. Good job on that fix!

It's slowly coming back to life.

I will post a picture of the rear caliper later showing just what corrosion can do aligned to poor maintenance !!!!!

And a tip for not breaking your thumb !!!!
