Just risen large part of route today ,my god its good,more naggery than flat out A road had one or two interesting moments ,and got slightly lost but I know most of it sort of,you guys are in for a real treat,well done Phil great route really beautiful views and crests/dropoffs,may have to stop for fuel at larger towns as very few petrol stations out in the sticks,pace maybe progressive rather than frantic,want people to enjoy it rather than loose sight of others.cheerz ady f.

Good plan, with that many going there's enough for two groups for sure.

BTW, anyone got a spare tent space?
I could bring one but would prefer to be able to move around the bike on the way up and back.
With a tent, sleeping bag, airbed and clothes it all gets a bit cramped.

If I could scrounge a corner to throw an airbed and sleeping bag for Friday night and Saturday night it would be appreciated, mostly with beer!

Plenty of tent space tony, there will be enough tent space for your bike to sleep inside too

do we know how many people are camping? as i would be interested in the camping if there are a few others, wouldn't want to be in the field on my jack jones and some traveler folk take a fancy to my pride and joy

I can't be arsed carrying my tent as its not one of the small one man ones its a bit big for the bike

i would have took it on the storm but it will make a mess of the gsxr paint work,

i might just take a poncho and ground sheet in a bag and pitch that over the bike if its only one night i can deal with that if there is no available tent space

This is starting to really tease me now. I'm thinking I would like to come along and weighing up the expenses. I would need somewhere to crash, bivi, tent, plastic sheet, whatever, as long as there is something above head to keep me dry.

Mmmmm Let me have a closer look tomorrow when I'm sober and I shall do some calculations and read through the route (miles) etc properly. I suppose there's always the evil credit card I should just say wombles it and don't miss the opportunity to meet some of you good folks I would like to put faces to names and enjoy the company of.

What's the weather forecast for then :lol:The Sun is a great persuader. LOL Seriously though, I will have another look tomorrow and work out the feasibility of this.
