8 am. Already feels warm. Bacon sandwich and cup of tea already consumed. FireStorm on the drive, days route sorted, gloves pulled on and they feel just right.
Starter thumbed and the twin exhausts bark into life as the birds in the branches startle and scatter. Favourite backroad, hit every apex and delight in the soundtrack.
Park up for a cuppa and look at the old girl. 10 years old now, but you still think she's one of the best looking bikes you've ever seen.
This isn't just biking, this is FireStorm biking.
Oh well, only a few montgs to go. Pleeeease.......
