I was talking to a few friends myself about hopping the water next year for a week or two. I too have never been out of the country on my bike....infact(dont laff) i have never been out of the country
Initially we were thinking, france, germany, holland(for a shmoke!) then home. Maybe this would be too much for first time tho...either way we want to do something and this sounds interesting
Seriously guys you'll love it....car drivers not trying to kill you at every opportunity....bikers not treated like second class citizens....great roads (especially through Germany) and the Nurburgring is an awesome circuit. Just take your time getting up to speed as it punishes mistakes like nowhere else, and if it's wet, don't even think about going out for a lap.
I'll be going back to Germany (the Harz region) in May with the usual crew, am looking forward to it already!
