was out and about

Well managed a short run out today sorry no pics
Screwdriver and spanner in pocket and a determined look on my face
Got my suspension just about right no just need a new front tyre

Needed a full turn on the front preload and 1/8th on the damping
Dropped the forks again 20mm showing above the clipons now

Back
left the preload were it was 2 full clicks on the rebound damping
3 clicks on the low speed and 1 click on the high-speed damping

A bike track a lot better round corners and doesn’t squat with under power
Its still dropping in at the start of a turn but I think that’s down to the tyre being worn now
So result
:D

Thing is mate, you may have to do it all again when you get the new front tyre on? I would have done it the other way round, i.e new front tyre then set it up.

Warby, at least you now know that the suspension will work properly with some fine tuning, even if you will need to re-set it slightly later on :!: :D

Also got out on mine on the 26th, VERY cold but dead on the roads round here so blew a few cobwebs out, of me. :)
There you go again Tim bragging about clearing the roads when you have yours out

That was the idea getting a ballpark figure and to stop it wagging the butt end under power in a corner

I think it should only need a bit more damping when it’s hotter to account for temperature increase of the oil or so I hope

You're not saying that Warby is aka Warby-Wobble-Ar$e are you?

I had a quick go out on the '748' and there is so much salt down on our roads that it needed a large washdown afterwards!!!
