undertrays

Post by bigrich »

Afternoon all,

I am after an undertray from my storm but one with the lights built in, i cant seem to find any online...has anyone got any experience of what undertrays are best or any with the lights built in.

I currently have a clear alternatives led rear light with built in indicators, but for some reason the indicators have stopped working on the back but still ok on the front, anyone have any tips what this could be, if i get this sorted i wont need an undertray with the lights in!

Cheers and happy new year!

might have to post a bit more info for the techies to help, rich. fronts still flash, just quicker? or just stay lit? can only be bulbs, relay or a break in the wiring.

i have led front and they blink at normal rate (i have a flasher unit fitted). the rear light and brake lights still work but the indicators have stopped, i have checked the wires and all seems fine, i think its just the light thats
knackered.

I've suffered the same thing, and found that one of the leads became detatched where it joins the circuit board. As there's a hole where the "bulb" fits in, you can just about get a soldering iron in to reattach it.

If it's not that, try reversing the polarity of the connections to the indicators. Some LED's are sensitive about which lead goes to where, unlike ordinary bulbs, where it doesn't matter whetheer you get the wires the right way round.

Good luck :)
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
