Dynojet - slide drill jig.

Post by petrolhead »

Hi. Sorry for opening a new topic for this, but...

It is time to get the bike out of the winter sleep :P
And I am going to install the Dynojet kit I bought last year, but the "slide drill jig" was missiing in the kit :?: (the drill was in the kit).

Please, can anyone help me with the position of auxiliary lift hole?

Thanks.

H Petrolhead.
If you look at the slide from the bottom.(needle pointing toward you). You will see two stock lift holes already drilled. they will be in the bottom left and right cornerns of the slide. The hole you want to drill will be in the top right corner as if you were making a triangle. I did mine by hand with out a jig (there wasn't one in my kit either) and it has'nt caused a problem. Don,t forget to remove the needle retainer before you start drilling.Go Carefull. Good luck

Thanks Pete.L.

I have the pdf file.
I will, as you say, just measure / calculate the distance from the figure, drill the lift hole, and (try to) be carefull.

Thanks again.
