TBH fightered storms don't do it for me. Everything looks too spindly on them when stripped back-forks, swingarm etc. I think it's cos the bikes so slender too :?

If I was stripping a big twin to fighter it'd have to be a TL.

But, it's each to there own

I'm not a fan on the euro rear ended look either, but apart from that I prefer the bike in the 2nd link you posted Tim, even the rads don't look out of place on that one to me :!:

Out of all posted I prefer the look of the Suzuki TL 8)

I've just checked my emails and unfortunately I've deleted the original ! i just remember saving the pictures

It was posted quite recently 'Christmas just gone' and from memory the seat unit it Buell, as is headlight, I think the USD's are Blade along with wheels
I'm sorry i don't know anymore:? , but i did reply saying how i loved what he had done and this should of been the OE unfaired version of the storm

The Buell seat unit must be quite a common mod :?: ...i took this pic at Poole Quay weekly bike night last summer.....mind you,,when studying both pics ,the subframes appear to be different at the mounting points .

Not to worry Dave. I agree it does look like it's got the parts that you've described fitted to it, including a Blade swingarm or similar. I was interested how the exhaust was actually made up etc :!:

Cheers,

FirestormMike wrote:It Looks to me like an SP1 swingarm with an SP2 rear wheel Chris, think that would probably be the better and easier fitting option as Im sure the early blades have a one piece pivot unlike storms.
You're probably right Mike :!: :) that certainly makes sense :!:

They're both X1 Lightning seat units BP.

However, the first one slot posted looks to have been moded at the bottom mount or its a copy of an X1 tail. Looks like its had more alloy grafted to it :?

That is the nicest VTR1000F fighter Ive seen too. Good spot 8)
