IMHO - don't scrimp on buying the cheapest Taiwanese / Korean / Chinese battery going. Tis a false economy.

Go for a good Japanese / German one will outlast the competition no bother.

Storms are pretty hard on batteries and in this case, you DO get what you pay for

I second that, buying a good battery is cheaper in the long run if you intend keeping the bike for a few years :!: Also they have more umph in them than the cheaper ones.

I'd recommend a Yuasa which is OE (original equipement) and the cheapest I've come across so far is from http://shop.wemoto.com/index.dyn?flag=17&make=Honda

Edit:- not hard I supose phoning around asking if they price match also.

Funny, that, seeing as it's the alarm most time that kills 'em......
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Hi there, try moonraker motorcycles in Norwich, the last battery i bought was a yuasa ytx12bs from them and it was £48 delivered.
Their number is 01603 623601.

Your battery might also be sulphated. Try this- take the battery off the bike and just leave it somewhere for a couple of hours.
Then put it back on and connect your charger, and see what happens. Got to be worth a try eh?
