Is it normal for the bike to make a rattle when in neutral, the noise goes away when i pull the clutch in ? :oops:

depends, are carbs balanced?, could be clutch basket? could be primary chain?
1998 Firestorm, 47,000 miles, forks valved & sprung, proflex shock +4mm over standard, manual ccts', k&n, 50#slow 185#/190# mains, front carb slide mod, R6 throttle tube, Tank raised, Viper cans, Coerce fork brace, EBC lite front discs & pads.

Depends how loud the rattle is. Mine has always had a slight clutch rattle which goes away when you pull the clutch in, so, yes, its normal unless its really loud
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

Very well put Paul, I'd agree with that :!:

Slightly more so when the engine oil is hot I'd add to that.
