Re: SHOCK HORROR
Lee, if you're happy with your new beast, that's all that matters
I know one thing you will be smiling about, when you need to put petrol in it
Can we have a pic or two of the new machine
seeing as Mike got the wrong model

Re: SHOCK HORROR
Looks better than the Burgervan, handling and performance was cack, had one for a short time(burger bun that is), 400 one slides in wet, spins it back wheel giving it welly a lights, transmission hit the deck at anything faster than walking pace round corners. mostly down to titchy wheels and being geared for acceleration topped out at 85. Hope the Gileras better otherwise you in for some fun.

1998 Firestorm, 47,000 miles, forks valved & sprung, proflex shock +4mm over standard, manual ccts', k&n, 50#slow 185#/190# mains, front carb slide mod, R6 throttle tube, Tank raised, Viper cans, Coerce fork brace, EBC lite front discs & pads.
Re: SHOCK HORROR
thats the one mike, will do 115mph..will beat owt from lights!!,,and returns 65-70mpg..oh it it handles fantastically...and stops on a dime, triple brembo calipers

Re: SHOCK HORROR
well I'm impressed - not by the scoot obviously, but there's no doubting Lee has more bottle than the rest of put together, unfortunately matched by his poor judgement

Errr...what can i say ...
Not my cup of tea , but were all individuals and buy whatever it is, to suit ourselves,(or we should )not to look cool in front of others ..so in that respect ,well done mate
Whatever floats yer boat and all that
I wonder if that big comfy seat would fit a 'storm without much modding

Re: SHOCK HORROR
You must have had more bikes than Carnell's Lee
Got to say-Scoots aint my thing. I did have a Speedfight 100 when I was 16 but that's cos I was saving for a Cagiva Mito
Horses for courses I suppose. Id consider buying one as a hack.
Thought you were smitten with the HD?

The weathers been a massive let down for me over the last few months. I've never not used a bike as little for any period of time as this winter. I think i'd rather keep the Buell tidy too. No matter how much you wash em that salty shite creeps in steady
Really fancying a 2nd bike this year to use through the shat Mother Nature (and the bloody council
) throw at us...
