Does anyone use scotoil 365?

Post by cupasoop »

Looking for a users view.

If you use this product, do you find any condensation that gathers on your engine will not evaporate but will run down and drip off the sump (or other low part of the bike)?

Grinner is the only one I remember posting about using ACF-50 Rich.

See Grinners reply in this link:-

He did post later (not sure where exactly) to say not good on electrical items on the bike. Although I believe it states it is suitable for that, strange :!:

I use FS365 sometimes, after any winter washdowns etc. It's ok, not a miracle product though. I believe AFC50 is better.

FS365 is basically just oil & water with an additive that allows the two to combine. Once applied the water evaporates off leaving an oil film. That film seems to burn off the motor though after a while so as with anything like this you need to re-apply.

Now you mention it my Zed did seem prone to condensation on the magnesium parts of the engine (clutch/stator covers, cam cover etc) but I couldn't say if that was due to the 365 or not. I didn't use it religiously, just whenever I remembered..
