Not sure about the SP2 part, but I did run these on my firestorm, they had done 4000 miles on road then 3 days on track in spain. The feel from them was awesome compared to the dunlops that I had on before.

AFAIK the BT014 is standard on the CBR 600 out of the factory.

I rate the 014s very highly but the rears can be skinned in less than 1500 miles. You wont be disappointed if you buy some.

Unless you're going on a 2000 mile Summer tour to France :D

I've never got this sticky tyre thing - I have used the Avon ST45/46 (now Avon Storms appropriately) for years as I only ride on the road. I get 7,000 miles from a rear and have never felt they lacked grip, even with the peg down 8)
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

Agreed but if you were touring you would prob get 4000K out of the rear 014.
The Storm ST's have received rave reviews but as I have never tried them I can not comment :wink2 .

I always used BT014s on my SP. They're and excellent tyre, but don't expect to get much mileage out of the rear.
She's my idea of beauty and thats what I ride.
