C+F

Post by METALDAN »

DID DO C+F ON WAY BACK, SEVERAL VERY DESCRIPTIVE WORDS I COULD USE BUT TO SUM IT UP:

STEERING DAMPER!!!!!!!

(and the brakes need a good bleed and new juice)

but what a road, absolutely beautiful, could not have found a better day in feb to buy new bike.
Put me in an empty room with a brick and i'll either break it, lose it or hurt myself on it!!!

Glad you enjoyed the experience, suprised you think it needs a steering damper though. Cant remember ever thinking that.

Same here.

Only ever got one real slapper (oooer, missus) over cat's eyes in double whites, accelerating hard up a hill.

Would have thought pretty much anything would slap provoked like that, to be fair.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

That would do it Tony.

Anything which deflects the front wheel when its not under load (ie when accelerating) would send my Storm and the SP into a wobble. Not sure if a damper would help - probably a bit I suppose.
