Fuel tap hose connections

Post by silentjewel »

I have taken four hoses off the fuel tap when I removed the tank but seem to have five possible connections. Can someone please send me a photo or diagrams of the correct connections?

Cheers

If your counting the small connection on the fuel tap that points at the ground, dont. That's only there to catch folk out.

There's a run heading out tomorrow from Fenwick if your interested.

Hope you got it sorted Grant, after your err ..retirement a few miles into our run, ...was it the tank hoses causing problems?

Hope you nursed it home ok ,..ps...we nearly had another retirement.........we didnt get to Glentrool , my bike didnt start at petrol station (just after you turned back) , me n Cupasoop headed to Bryans house in Irvine for jump leads, then we only ended up in Largs, had to jump-start again then drove all the way home hoping my petrol light wouldnt come on :!:

I really MUST get a battery very soon , ie ordering one tonight :(

Hi Stevie

The tank breather hose was kinking and not letting air into the tank as the fuel was used. Re-routed it and went out for a short run tonight. Working great now.
