Good luck Mellis, lets hope all your problems are solved. Nothing worse than a broken steed.

Weeeeeeellllllllll, it works, but what a drama. This is the first bike that i have had to really work on. Under the airbox there were a million tubes to do with the intake system. I connected 2 up the wrong way around and the bike ran like shite. I eventually found the problem and now she runs like a dream. Bizarrely it is even louder than the last one and now sets off all the car alarms in the street!!

I now think that i shall be getting rid and buying something a bit more reliable!!!!! I am back to the UK at the end of August and should be staying for at least 3 years with no holiday opportunities at all, if you get my meaning! This should allow me some time to get the bike that i really want, although i don't know what it is yet!

Great news mate, hell of an acheivement as well you should be proud. Most people would have run a mile from an engine/gearbox swap.

Top stuff!

Glad youve got it sorted!

I know what you mean about getting rid. Can leave a sour taste after something like that happens :( I'm really glad I owned a TLS and got it out of my system! On reflection I never really gelled with it. I always found the Suzi felt less solid than other bikes I've owned too :?

Absolutely right, i have had a few zooks and have loved them but this one is a bit of a dog and is not up to the same standards as those i have had.
