Economies of scale old boy :wink2

Replacement gearbox parts = £650
Oil pump and gasket kit = £200
Fook around factor = Priceless!

The replacement engine was £400 from a bloke who builds TLR racers and knows his stuff. Plus I needed the bike quickly. I would like to have had a crack at doing the whole thing myself but just didnt have the time or money.

thats good news mark, shame its left a sour taste as tillers are great bikes.....more on mine too, its the starter clutch thats let go..all getting sorted under warranty as we speak...hope i dont miss the decent weather of late :x

You're right, of course. Much cheaper.
You can always do the old engine as a winter project!
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
