Clutch resevoir sediment

Post by B120CR »

(sorry if Im being greedy with 2 new posts this morning  )
I have to top-up my resevoir every couple months-ish and when doing so yesterday found sum horrible oily residue sat at the bottom. I bleed through sum new and topped up but Im sure it shouldnt be there. It was a pain to bleed through properly and hasnt given me best results. What next needs replacing?!!
I have done the following in the last month but she deserves it after all those lovely trouble free miles..... (pads all round, fork seals, air filter, oil change, CCTs, plugs, front wheel bearings) Thanks

Try a slave slave seal (approx £5) first - master seal kit for the handlebar lever is IIRC £30+

Plus check the slave cylinder for scratches

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
