Clutch Lever
Clutch Lever
Hello All,
I would like to know if one of you guys might point me to a shaped clutch lever, closer to the grip with a shorter travel?
My tendons are shagged and the shorter stroke may help.
cheers

Re: Clutch Lever
Hi Roger, Have you tried the adjustment on the standard lever?
If you wind it right in, there's hardly any gap between grip and lever.
Just a thought...
Chris.

Thanks Chris,
Yes it is wound in fully and still kills, I know there is a shaped lever which does fit but no idea what model.
cheers

Re: Clutch Lever
Yep, Pazzos are good and have a wide range of adjustment. You might be better with the 'long' style if you want a light pull (better leverage), or the 'short' style if you want shorter reach. I put a pair of long levers on my Tiger.
Re: Clutch Lever
Thanks Lads,
I've never been one for custom flash, too tight you see.
I would like to find a lever from another type of bike which fits the firestorm.
cheers

Re: Clutch Lever
Hi Roger, Don't know if you've solved your issue yet, but today i fitted a pair of Titax levers to my vtr and they are very nice, especially the clutch, because of the quality bearings used, the pull is now very light, and the range of adjustment is huge- pretty reasonably priced too!

I'm getting the same Mike

I imagine there is probably info on a closer outlet nearer to us than the Czech Republic in that catalogue.

Re: Clutch Lever
Yes, I am using the same Mike and have been for quite a while now. I used to be a big fan of AVG and had used it for years, but since it started the AVG 8 versions it was always having problems up dating so that's when I changed. As you say, I too think Avast is pretty good for a freebieFirestormMike wrote:Yep, I assume you're using the same Chris ? Re: Clutch Lever
Hi Chris, I ordered them through http://www.bikeit.co.uk, and they took 2 days to arrive.
I can't get over how light the clutch action is now!!
I think it must be to do with the bearings in the lever pivot- Highly recommended.
