am currently interested in your beloved vtr. Does it put your hands to sleep when cruising at highway speeds ? or any other time ?

I haven't been on a bike that doesn't do that to me on a long trip. But what I think you might mean is Is it any worse than other inline fours?..
No
If you want something which is more sports than touring then you have to have something which is a bit forward in it's seating position.
The Vtr is a good compromise and nowhere near as radical as some of the race reps around and will still give them all a good run for their money.
Get yourself a test drive and try it for yourself, you won't be dissapointed :wink:

Slopezx,

I agree with Pete, I use mine for long journeys twice a week, lasting up to four hours each (with only petrol stops!) without any major problems. A test drive will have you smiling like a loon!
