Aye, very nice , my wee pal has one he's had it since new (03)

Only thing is it thinks its a Firestorm......it needed a reg/rec and a battery last year

Apart from that hes not had any bother with it :)

A very clean bike Lee :!:

As I said earlier (in "Dodgy Dealers, Cheapest , Best Service etc.." section) I thought the SV650's were supposed to be good and going by the above posts looks like I'm right :)

I mate of mine has one and he would like the 1000 version, but after test riding one he's not so sure it's as good all round as the smaller 650, just as you said :!:

a few things john...main thing is it handles straight outta the box...the tl had issues with that rear box suspension, even tho i never had any hassles with it, the sv just handles mint..like on rails!!...as u know the sv is basically a modern tl albeit with power lopped off..i loved my tl, i reckon i,ll love this more..i reckon if alot of riders tried one they would be surprised :biggrin

Like I said, my mate loves his. I always found the tiller fine too, but after riding the Buell it feels like a bus

I've considered a SV650 should I have to save a few pennies/down size. I've seen some really cracking ones knocking about with some very 8) upgrades.

I've also seen a few hassling litre bikes up and down :D
