Post by yorkshirepuddin »

I fitted a scottoiler over the weekend, now she runs very rough, she seems to tick over on full choke, when choke in and add a few revs she dies.

Any one got any ideas

I have checked double checked every hose connection that i disconnected, and double checked the new connection, did have a small snag as i forgot to check the vacuum to the petrol tap, but got that one sorted fine.

Still think it’s down to running lean
Now you may call me a Richard for what I’m about to ask but you did fit a T piece off the original vac pipe for the fuel tap or plumbed in a new line to the spare vacuum take off on the engine for the vacuum control on the scottoiler didn’t you????
