Fook that took along time to click through that lot, damn, you guys must have had a fantastic time and the pictures do speak a thousand words. Makes me wish I could do a similar road trip later on.

Spot on Timbo,
Fantastic scenery and big hills!!!, you were right the Green machine was needing a wash after the trip
If I could think far enough ahead to next year I would love to do something like that myself.

Cheers

Great pics and looks like a really good trip. Some of them remind me of my 10 days in France last year on the TDM. Hope to do the same this year if the pennies allow :sad2

Think he put them back on so the throw overs wouldnt touch, but could be wrong.
A good point that :!:

I was wondering if it was because there was more chance of being pulled for noisy can's (non EU stamped) abroad, but your explanation is probably it :!:

I like those picture a lot. That Storm is a credit to its former owner. I am very jealous but the long motorway bits put me off at the mo. Lets have a meet up SOON!

We didnt do long motorway bits other than geting to Dover and then coming home cos the weather turned poop. Out of the 3500 miles i did, about 2500 miles were non-motorway. We avoided where possible and only did short stretches where there was no alternative.
On my last three bikes clocking up about 18000 miles (2 yrs) I have done about 120miles on the motorways. 70 of those coming to meet you! I hate em, cant see the point unless you are on a tourer. I know its a means to an end and it is essential to get to the A class territory but I hate em!
