Lee had his accident about 2 week back on snake pass caused by an audi tt on his side of road overtaking standing traffic on solid white line, lee managed to swerve the audi but went into the crash barrier and slid down the road grinding his right knee right down to the joint needing an op and further op soon luckily that was his only injuries and sue was very shocked and scared and had a slight bruise, he also got an infection in the bone but its under control now police have caught the driver as he did one then returned to see what damage he had done and left again so he's fooked now, lee's already writing his list of what bike to get next.

Poor Bloke. At least Sue was only bruised and shaken it can so often be worse for the passenger.

Send him our best. Tell him when he's well enough we'll all start taking the pi$$. Hell, we might even have a whip 'round for another scooter for him

Once the story's been told a few times it'll morph into a TT injury for sure.

hi all..im alive thanks for al the well wishes..it happened 3 weeks ago now(sv was 2 weeks old with 900 miles on :sad2 ...real story is i was travelling down the snake pass, some tit in an audi tt quatro decided to overtake 3 cars on a blind hairpin bend on my side of the road...he was said to be doing in exscess of 100mph..and had crossed double solid whites on the bend..i obviously had no where to go as he was drifting the car sideways his ( rear tyres left gouges in the road on my side 2ft from the crash barrier)..so i went into the barriers and slid down the road..hence grinding my kneecap down to the joint...surgery and a week in hossy im now home on a long recovery..consultant says i might never walk right and defo no mtb timbo :( there is talk of further surgery..in the future.....as for the Richard in the audi, ive got 3 witnesses..the police caught him an hour later just under the drink drive limit..and he is getting prosecuted on 6 counts..
