Bike in for MOT first thing. It appears after topping up with new fluid and bleeding, brakes were ok, now they are crap 2 hours later.
Fault appears to be leaky seal on carrier.
What I need to know is - - - IS THE REAR CALIPER ON THE STORM THE SAME AS SP2? If so, gonna be a quick switcheroo for MOT then it'll have to be stripped down and repaired.
A VERY QUICK QUESTION PLEASE HELP!
Re: A VERY QUICK QUESTION PLEASE HELP!
They are completely different. No obvious leaks? Sounds like a seal has gone that is letting air into the system which will make the brake go squidgy! Check the banjos and the like, swapping the lines might be a starter and the Firestorm ones will more than likely fit. Brakes are a pain in the butt

Re: A VERY QUICK QUESTION PLEASE HELP!
ah hahahhaha.
I've done it
:D:D
Its exactly the same but the bleed nipple and the banjo inlet are reversed. I've swapped them and it's working fine. Much better braking than the storm. Don't worry, I don't plan to leave it that way, just till I get a kit to rebuild the proper caliper.
Then I'll have to sell the storm
