I done got me a Firestorm!

Post by Chillitt »

Woo and indeed hoo! :D :D
I am now the proud owner of a not so shiny Firestorm!
Needs a bit of a polish and a couple of scratches polishing out, But her's lovely! Just been for a spin, and all I can say is, It's a bit different to a GPZ900R!!!
BTW it's yellow. That's good, Right?
Pictures to follow...

Yellow ones are OK just a bit heavier and slower than the black and red ones.

I had to get a yellow one to match my crash helmet.
But then I changed my helmet-

to a CARBON one... :D

It sounds like you're enjoying your new bike Chillitt :!: :D

All you have to do now is get used to using the torque and not revving it so hard in each gear like the four cylinder GPZ900R. The first gear to second is best changed asap for the smoothest change,

Enjoy :plainsmile

Halfords do the shining yellow paint in aerosol and brush-on forms, a bit pricy (£10 for an aerosol can) but a good colour match.

Here's a tip, if you live by a river, dont get a yellow bike!
Having turned the wheels a bit... the mind wanders to tinkering...
I have a new rear subframe to put on it, cos this one has a bit of rust (it came with the bike) so seems like an idea time to put a hugger on it. Pyramid are out of stock of black, carbon and even yellow huggers, (and also fender extenders). Any recommendations on who else to try?
