According to other posts here it means you can use bits of old tyre to seal exhausts :confused
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I've got a set on the GSXR600 trackbike and I cant fault them. I've done 3 trackdays on them and they are wearing really well (including a day in Anglesey- a track that's notoriously hard on tyres). Loads of grip, they warm up quickly (though my first outing on them was in Feb. at Oulton, and they were spinning up everywhere in the first session. Mind you, it was only about 7 above freezing and the track was wet).

One thing I have noticed is that the rear has a very steep profile. I still have about 6mm of chicken strips both sides, yet am getting plenty of lean on. I reckon if you get them worn right to the edge on the road then you have bigger nuts than I have!

I have the Suppermaxx Presa tyres on, not the 6029s

These are the ones I use.....awesome bits of rubber

Nice one Tim. Glad they're sorted. There's nowt worse than dodgy feeling tyres :? Makes riding a lot less pleasurable.

Amazing how many times I've heard that or similar from people with Metzler's, Michelin's, Bridgestone's etc, etc
