Sp2 frame getting hot

Anyone with an sp here noticed the frame getting hot near the rearsets upto around the area of the vin plate on side of frame? Temp on guage showed 82 after a long ride last night. Ta

My SP1 was the same, melted the odd slider to it at times if memory serves correct!

Yep, they run very, very hot. Blame that big old exhaust running off the rear cylinder..

82 C is about right this time of year.
Mine runs at 77 even in the middle of winter. Just wait until you slow down and idle in traffic after a good spin. Watch how fast that temp tops the 100 :wink:
And it not just the bike frame that gets hot then :lol: :lol: :lol:
