yorkylancs wrote::D Cheers everyone for the replies, pick of the bunch has to be the RRV fairing, the 954 doesnt look as good, although i have 954 forks fitted to mine, and that might help with any clearence issues. What year is the rrv,so i can get looking on ebay, will be leaving it to winter tho, weather to good at mo.Sirch did marlboroman ever finish his,its just that the tale seems to end, without any finished pics...Cheers all.Yorky.
I don't know any details on RRV fairing like what year etc. Unfortunately I don't think Malboroman did finish what started out to be a very interesting thread to follow :!:

Chris.

PS. I disagree about modifying your bike. IMHO if a different part or modification looks better or does a better job than the standard part then why not fit it. As long as you advise your insurance company and any mod does not make your bike dangerous to ride I'm all for it.

Luckily enough for me there was a very good one within 55 miles 8) Dont go fitting look a likey fairings to what is already a great bike. The Storm is a Storm the SP is an SP. Just my opinion :D
Agree 100% that is what i always say, if you want your storm to look like a blade, buy a blade :) Or an R1 ;)
Ditto.

Don't see the point?!? I think the Firestorm is a good looking bike anyway. I'd keep it as is and spend the money on setting it up right.

BUT it's each to there own!
SP1's rock!

....................................i'd say most the main reason of people who buy a large capacity bike, buy it for the characteristics of the engine fitted to that particular model , so in that case the firestorm engine is the "jewel in the crown" of the bike :!:

The engine is the heart and s..s..s..s....."soul" (oops ,i said the S word) of the Firestorm ,so it's up to the individual if they want to change the bodywork a bit .

Anyway......i've got a ferry to catch ,..did i mention i was going to Ireland today ?
Fair one, each to there own, why not drop the storm lump in an RRW Blade then? Handling and Soul 8)
