Chris.
I personally wouldn't touch an SP if I got one. At best I'd fit a pair of decent aftermarket cans and a PC. The SP was built a race bike (be it for the road) and that’s how it should stay. Tis a thing of beautyFireman on a Storm wrote:Renthals on an SP Like I did on my storms????

It makes me cry when I see SP1's and 2's that have been "moded"I know fitting just a pair of bars isn’t going to the extent of fitting silly indicators, bad under trays, silly stickers, anodised parts and general cheap tack...:mad2 but I'd still leave it be.
In the same breath I understand why people like bikes with flat bars-look at mineIMO-if you want a fighter A) Buy a factory built fighter B) Build one out of a wrecked bike C) Build one out of a less iconic/dare I say "classic" (or will be...) bike.
I'll shut up now
I agree, well done to that man indeedbikerpiker wrote: A pal that came to Ireland last Sunday with us is going motorcycling and camping right up the north-west of Scotland with his dad next weekend...................his dad is 75 and still rides a bike regularly ,he retired from my place of work 10 years ago, ,well done that man
That's excellent as well Tim,...i think i'd be asking for a go of the BSA if i were youTimbo wrote:Respect indeed.
My Dad has a 1958 BSA A-summat or other (Gold Flash) that he rides pretty much every day and at the grand old age of 70. This is occasionally with my 68 year old mum on the back
I have a yellow bike, it's quite loud but I don't get many people catching me up to let me know.Timbo wrote:Good write up Jim, you should become a journo![]()

Mate you could definately make a bike journo....... might be worth adding some sarcasm somewhere thoughtony.mon wrote:I have a yellow bike, it's quite loud but I don't get many people catching me up to let me know.Timbo wrote:Good write up Jim, you should become a journo![]()
It breaks sometimes, and I just fix it again.
It's cost me lots of money, and will certainly cost me lots more, so I punish it with a sound thrashing every chance I get.
There; can I be a journo too?
I could write a column called SpeedoFile for MCN or Bike; I'm sure that would be entertaining.
"Next week- my black bike".
"Coming soon: the red one".
