Anyone run this combination :?: Only because because I've been given some brand new Bridgestones (BT56 fr, 010 rear)

That sounds chuffin horrendous mate

Too small front
Too large rear
Better/stickier tyre on the rear
Older/obselete tyre on the front

Euch!! Don't do it mate

PS that said (and assuming money is THAT tight) if you put a proper sized 010 on the front you'd probably be OK with the oversized rear

Don't sound a good combination at all,but I've run a BT010 front with 020 rear using a 120 60 on the front for the last couple of months and found the front turns in quicker with the 120 60 which I had previously found to happen on a CBR

Sussed the front wasn't a good choice this morning and gave it to mate of mine's for the front for his bandit. Was gonna give the new 014s a go next anyway but I might get a front first and try the 190 :!:

I think is not a good idea, vtr is difficult to handle, a 190 tire worsen everything........i'd like to try a 160 tired :P

Not sure about the 190 "50"" bit, but i'm running a 190 section at the mo....

not had any probs at all. was a D208.
