Any of you garage dwellers ever chromed up your bolts and bars etc?
Anyone had any success? Thought about getting a small kits and using it to do all the bolts and visible fasteners that are showing their age? Might eve go as far as the zorst hangers/pillion pegs....
Thoughts...?

Re: Electroplating or chrome plating
A few weeks ago i just took my chrome bars off my Bandit and fitted black renthals ,so i'm dulling mine down
Must admit though ,i like to see a bike where the owner has spent time polishing the Aluminium parts , was always going to try it myself when i had my 'storm but never got round to it. Chrome is quite expensive to get done i was told.
Polishing kits available cheap on ebay ,£20 or so. Some nice wee video clips of work done/how to do it on Youtube as well .

Re: Electroplating or chrome plating
So a VTR in chrome is a no then????
I'm so glad!!!!!
All I wanted to do was a couple of bolts and perhaps the footpegs.
Christ, that was a big pot he suspended the 'Busa in?? And was he using a 6v battery?
