Hi all, I've done some searching and the nearest I got was the "Fireblade fork transplant" from last November, but this was mainly about Fork swap.
Does anyone know if the wheels for a 929/954 Fireblade fit a Storm? Would then the discs fit OK?
Thanks
Fireblade wheels direct swap?
Re: Fireblade wheels direct swap?
Thanks Mike, I think you are right. It sounds like considerable hassle unless it's a direct fit....
No bike (yet).
Re: Fireblade wheels direct swap?
I have 6 spoke wheels on my Superhawk. The rear is off a 96 900rr (Fireblade) and the front is from an F3 (600rr). Both are direct bolt ons,use the same disc/bearings etc... If I can ever get pictures to post (read the instructions and can't make it work) I will post some of my bike or you can check it out here...

Re: Fireblade wheels direct swap?
Thanks chaps.
I want to get some light wheels, but most of them are dollar, dymag etc. I thought that the newer blade wheels are light, apparrently the 1000RR are super light and thought it would be a cheap option.
There are a couple of Oz 929/954 wheels on ebay, might have been a deal, so wanted to know.
Would be a great idea to know what fits on a Firestorm though.... even if it needs an adaptor for spindle width or spacer...
