You'd only need to play about if they were the LED micro indicator types. They'll be fine just plugged in like blackneck says.
Screws are present on most. You'll be able to access the bulbs or sort out any condensation should it occur-edit-just make sure you fit them the right way up. Most have a cut out that should be at the bottom of the lense case when fitted. It'll allow any moisture out. If its at the top it'll let water in -edit
im aware that these are plug and play and not led because i wasnt looking for led as i didn't want to piss about with resistors and relays etc , i was just concernd about them being a bit crap
i think i shall make a purchase and see how i get on, just worried they might look naff
Well the indicators came after a weeks wait from Japan. Regular tracking info was supplied and the build quality was spot on. The only thing is the front set are a tight fit due to the short stems but once fitted they are spot on. Well worth the money.
well fitted the mini indicators today I bought, the ones in the pics above and as I thought there sh1t!
the front are as tight as a nun's snatch (possibly tighter as there pulling on the fairing to get them tight),
and all four are as bright as a spastic, and the spacers....lets not go there!
needless to say i have removed them and fitted the busted original until I get another from a breakers yard and will be selling the mini's on ebay

I thought the build quality was good. Yeah they are a tight fit on the front but look spot on compared to original indicators. I thought they were bright enough but not as bright as the big Honda jobbies. No complaints really each to their own.
I didn't like the fact that they just wasn't bright at all
and the fact that they was that small to do the nut up it was pulling noticeably on the fairing, the build quality was ok not knocking that but the item is never for a fire storm, it looked horrendous when fitted this tiny thing that didn't fit properly and had a massive gap behind it looked stupid and was very dim.
the spacer's to was a joke.
im going to be fitting the indicators off a later model firestorm and cut the box off the wires and put the end's on from mine.
Seb,
So it was really down to not being very bright, something you could only find out by giving them a try I guess.
May be brighter bulbs would have helped, plus you can get covers that cover unsightly holes that are normally showing with smaller type indicators, including LED types.
