Mine was a very second hand Triumph cub with dodgy brakes,clutch,and big end bearings......200cc's of mechanical problems mmm.. wish i still had it!

After pass ing my test in 2006 I got the bike I always wanted when I saw it for the first time in 1990!!! The VFR400rr NC24

My first (learner 50cc) was a Garelli Record. Had 6.5 bhp, right foot gearchange, and was that little bit faster than an FS1E (but oh so crude in comparison). Registration was OHO 81 L.
Proper next bike was the Suzuki GT250M RamAir jobbie. Reg was HJT79N. Had 32 bhp so was really something. Passed my test on that one.

PS Yes, I am old!

Slightly later registrations because I'm not as old as some

Why can I remember registrations from 25 yrs ago but I can't remember what I had for tea last night?
