Just wanted to "show off" my track bike.
I've had my Firestorm track bike for about 2 years, it was pretty standard apart from an Ohlins rear shock. After a few goes on it, I felt obliged to spend money on it.
Firestly I had the forks Race Tuned by Roger Ditchfield. Then I purchased Kingster's Moriwaki engine and had it dyno'd:

I can hear the sharp intake of breath. 4-5K was more than noticeable, felt like it was dying... kept above that it was quite strong. The local dyno chap didn't have the experience to diagnose the issue. So it went off to Roger.
The diagnosis was that at some stage the manual CCTs were over tightened causing an issue with the timing which tipped a couple of valves.
Recently returned, all fixed with a suitably impressive dyno. Note no flat spot and how much earlier 100BPH is reached, so a massive improvement in midrange.

The Moriwaki ST1 Spec of the engine is:
Moriwaki Hi-comp Pistons
Moriwaki ST1 camshafts
Moriwaki Specially modified magnesium Carbs
Moriwaki Velocity stacks
Skimmed Cylinder Heads to spec
Ported and Gasflowed Cylinder Heads
Modified Standard airbox
Moriwaki ST1 Ti exhaust pipe system with custom made cans.
I've now got to give it some TLC, replace the subframes with some Spondon ally ones, repair/paint my fairings and add a <99 CBR600 fuel pump (anyone got one of these?). And hopefully returning it to it's former glory with a little bit of spit and polish! ;)!
Hoping to go to Rockingham on the 24th August to give it a go!
Many thanks to Roger, he truely is a gentleman and his knowledge is second to none...
