The problem is gone...

I fixed it :P

I decided to take the fuel tank off and check all the cables etc...

And I noticed at the back of the fuel tap a nipple without a hose...
But a hose off the bottom nipple...

Now, I know some mechanics, and have had a few experiences with vacuum taps...and thought, all vacuum taps I have seen have the nipple at the back...so I tested it, by pulling off one of the carb hoses, and with some tube sucked the nipple (ooh...err :P)....

Seems that when the bike was restricted, the fitter put the vacuum line on the wrong point :lol:

Pulls like a train now :)

Careful.

There's two pipes coming out of the fuel tap which could take the vacuum line, the one you want is the one at 90 degrees, not the one pointing straight down.

The straight down one is just a drain, and allows pressure back in behind the rubber.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

That was the problem...
When the bike was restricted, the fitter must have put the vacuum hose on the drain hose connection.

I put the hose on the vacuum point connection and all cured :)
