I think the biggest thing keeping the numbers down (relatively speaking) is the 70+K miles on the engine (FYI, dyno readings were taken at the rear wheel on a Dynojet dyno).
I am having the last bits of work done on it for this year (having a shock reservoir added by a buddy who owns a suspension shop, will give me high and low-speed compression adjustment; I'll also be adding a steering damper) tomorrow so I should be able to post pics shortly (for the naysayers, lol)

I just wondered if the torque would have been higher with a standard flywheel. I guess you'd only know that by a Dyno run with a standard one fitted.
Your modded shock should be pretty good too. Do let us know how it turns out,
shock is now done, has a reservoir with low and high-speed compression damping adjustment My buddy also installed a softer spring for me as I weigh under the "ideal" weight of 180 lb listed for the OEM piece. I am still working with the settings but it feels good so far.
P.S. to Pete: I actually spent 4 months in the UK way back in 1993 when I finished off my unversity degree at the U of Bradford. Although the opportunity to return has not yet arrived, I would love to head back, really enjoyed my stay there (which included a trip to Donington for the WSB race )

Cheers for the update regarding the rear shock modification. I'm sure once you've got it set-up right you'll find it a definite improvement. I expect you yourself will need to adjust to the different feel from the rear end of your bike now, so that will take a little time to familiarize yourself with that also.
While I forget exactly what he said (and lost the original e-mail), it was basically that the testing he performed when developing his Storm for track duty was that an across-the-board increase in advance offered little in the way of benefits while increasing heat inside the engine. In essence, he found a few small pockets where some change in the stock timing curve was beneficial but these (not always an advance BTW) required a programmable box to extract the benefits. I am sure he will gladly share his findings with you if you write him.
Thanks although i am no expert but I have dabbled in fueling and ignition mapping my thoughts are that in the US and Canada where fuel octane figures are generally lower than ours, our minimum is 92 (regular) and yours is 87 (regular) then the 4 degree advance on the lower fuels would be more beneficial but the higher you go in grading the less benefit you will see.
My friend Google tells me that Super Premium 94 is available in Montreal, is that what you are using?
Part of the reason for the different octane numbers lies in the method used to calculate it (in Canada, the R+M/2 method is used, for example). I am currently running 87 octane and the bike works fine despite the porting and decked heads (tech who did my heads polished the combustion chambers to do away with hot spots which typically cause problems).
Mine ran up to 108 hp on the dyno when I had the carb sliders adjusted to suit a pair of MIG concepts I bought and fitted. Before the RR session she was a pig to ride, coughing rich idle lean top end, now shes ideal with seemless response to the red line, standard filter no dyno jet just standard engine. Exhaust has a glorious rip to it now, odd flame on the overrun from high revs, magic !

My FireStorm on my Dyno puts out 101bhp @ 8600rpm and 66lbs @ 6800rpm.
I know my mates is a single bhp lower his is a 1999 model mine a 2000.
Can remember but I did Warfox in 2007 and his was very similar.
These three are all std bike and all put 100ish bhp at the rear wheel.
