When you get this symptom, what speed are you doing and in what gear? Not saying you do, but you can't let the Storm chug along in high gear at low revs, even if it is a V twin.
30-40 in 2nd or 3rd between 3-4k. Don't think I chug too much, 4 years on Supermoto's taught me that :lol:

Have you seen Gilsons Dyno chart when the manual CCT's were too tight? - Big hole in power and torque :eek2
Doubt its the CCT's then the dyno chart looks fine.

Twins need to have the chain at the right tension- and that's a two man job, one to sit on the bike on a paddock stand, the other to adjust tension and check for tight spots.

They're much more sensitive to chain slap than fours or even triples.

Worth checking that before you start paying for engine/carb work.

And while you're there, check for nearing play swing arm and rear wheel.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
