black rubber flap??

hi all
may be a little dumb
where the tank hinges i've only just notice a black rubber flap!
but where should it go? infront of the shock or under the tank?

if its the black flap im thinking about it sits under the tank over the top of one of the rear cylinder the seat end..
if you take off the seat there is a single bolt going through the tank and frame.

thats where you use that strange U shaped allen key thing from the firestorm on bike tool kit.

if your having probs with putting it in i will take a photo of it on mine..

just wasn't sure if it lies flat under the tank or hang down in front of shock.

The 2 slots at the bottom hook over the fixing bracket to create a U shape around the fuel petcock and pipes.
