Sidi Vertebra Boots

Has anyone else got a pair of these boots. I was well happy with my new Dainese leathers and my new boots were on the way via mail order .When they arrived I thought what a quality made solid boot and was happy with my new purchase. I thought lets go for a ride so on went the leathers and the new boots were slipped on and this is when my problems started. How the hell are you supposed to zip them up with your leathers tucked in.My previous Dianese boots were spot on and loads of room. Has anyone got round this or do I have to wear my leathers outside my boots like a girl .

I have a pair and I love them. I assume you've slackened off the calf adjusters at the back by sliding the little button across ?

My only grip with them as that the white "Sidi" bit has started to turn yellowish.

Yeah Mike all slackened off.Its very tight with the leathers tucked in .I think its the shin armour in my leathers restricting the boot.Its just I dont want to bust the zip

got a set of sidi's and got the same problem
bit tight across the sole to just the way the Vertebra are
made for skinny calfs

out of all the boots i have donned over the years, prexport were high on my list until i got a pair of oXtars.. well formerly know as oXtars..

got the waterpoof pair due to all year round riding... they are amazing.. comfortable as hell, water proof better than any thing i have used, and very protective... i know this as i have dropped my bike on my ankle and not a mark or bruise to be seen.

the mrs has some sidi verti boots i just dont like them comfort wise... they look good for sure.. i was gutted when she got a pair cause i wanted some... but as we have the same size feet i nicked em right away... but gave her them back just as quick.. she now tries to nab my boots cause they feel like slippers when on

I have some. The end of the zips on your leathers always seem to be cutting in to your ankles don't they?

Will go for a different make next time for sure.

but i suppose its like helmets... dont matter how they market it .. its finding one to fit your head shape...
Shoeis fit my head like a glove but i cant put my glasses on with them.. arai... dont suit my head shape at all.

I'd agree with that-think all boots fit very differently. I don't get on with Sidi's but my mate loves em.

Best I've tried for fit and comfort are Altbergs. But they look like black riggers

I get on with the Sidis and do like them but I thought a bit more calf room would have been nice.Oh well looks like the leathers will have to stay outside the boot.Not sure if this is ok as I have always tucked in

I agree my sidi boots fitted fine until i changed my leathers, My answer to the problem was chuck em in the back of a cupboard and buy some cheaper boots............never buy another pair of sidi's!!
And hey CHUXSTA if you find a shoei helmet fits like a glove.....maybe you should get someone else to dress you ....only joking mate.
