Hello all,
I've just fitted one to my storm, the older style rather than the electric one. Trouble is it is putting a not insignificant amount of oil on the rear tyre. I have turned it right down and I get about one drip per two minutes when the engine is ticking over. It is touching the sprocket at about 6.30 - 7 position.
Any ideas? I bought it off ebay so can't send it back, but doesn't seem to be broken anyhow.
Thanks,
James

Thanks for the reply Joe, but tis the proper stuff in there. Guess I could try thicker oil but that shouldn't be the problem...
Re: Scottoiler
Just checked their website and found the higher temp oil and it says the following
Our Red Oil is designed for warmer climates and should be used in ambient temperatures of 20-40ËšC. This makes it ideal for touring abroad. Because of its increased viscosity this oil is also better suited for use with older Scottoiler kits or with faster flowing oilers.
So you may be on to something there. Will give it a shot.
Thanks
