Welcome to the storm, I think most riders suffer with this problem. Mine,s doing the same right now. They just dont like the cold to much.
Best advice I can give is make sure the battery is kept charged up, cover it over as mauch as poss during the night.
As for starting, dont even think about the choke, you got no chance with that.
Mine will only start by hitting the button and only a fraction of twist on the throttle, keep the button pressed until she fires up. Then use more throttle , but dont pull the choke out.
Actually I,ve never really used the choke on mine yet, I always let her warn up before riding.
I,m in the process of changing my plugs this week now it,s getting colder.
